Tips and Tricks Windows 7: Print to PDF
So as part of an effort keep the site up to date and to be more useful in general, we are going to start posting some tips, tricks and hints for all the One Less Mac readers. Here is the first one:
Printing to PDF on Windows 7:
Yes it seems crazy that Windows 7 does NOT have a virtual PDF printer out of the box. Of course some fan boys will mention that some other operating system does (cough cough). Well luckily there are quite a few options, some of which we will cover here.
1. Buy the professional version of Adobe Acrobat (lame).
2. Download and install CutePDF writer, free and easy to install (we like this one).
2. If you more on the geeky side and run a linux server at home or at your office you can setup a virtual PDF printer on Samba that anyone can map over the network.
